Uma semana depois de Rafael Nadal e Carlos Moyá anunciarem o teste positivo para COVID-19 no regresso de Abu Dhabi, nos Emirados Árabes, Marc Lopez, novo membro do corpo técnico do espanhol e que também esteve presente nos Emirados Árabes Unidos, também deu positivo para a doença.
López é ‘apenas’ mais um nome dos que passou pela prova e está infetado. Denis Shapovalov, Andrey Rublev e as tenistas Belinda Bencic e Ons Jabeur testaram positivo. Emma Raducanu também já estava na cidade quando testou positivo, mas nem chegou a competir…
